Free AI-trace check
Paste a draft and see the sentences that read like a machine wrote them — the imperative openers, the contrast tails, the little verdicts stuck on the end of a fact, the colon lists.
A style check, not an AI detector and not a score. Detector scores are unreliable and no tool can promise one. What you get here is the shape list that our own marked-up scripts kept pointing at, plus one suggestion per sentence.
Result
Your flagged sentences show up here, with the shape each one carries.
Rather not fix it line by line?
The De-AI writer keeps your meaning and rebuilds the sentences in a human hand — plain facts with a named system and a number, instead of facts with a flourish bolted on. New accounts get 30 points free (about 1,000 words).
Questions
Is this the same as an AI detector?
No. Detectors guess from statistics over a whole document and their scores move between runs. This page only lists sentence shapes we can point at, and it says nothing about whether a detector will flag you.
Why these four shapes?
They are the shapes left behind on scripts that were heavily marked, and the ones that disappeared on a script that came back clean: a command aimed at the reader, a comparison tail (instead of, rather than), a short verdict on the end of a fact, and a colon list. Plain description — a named system plus a figure — kept coming back clean.
Do you keep my text?
No. The check runs in your browser and the text is not sent anywhere. We only count that a check happened, so we know the page is working.
What should I do with a flagged sentence?
Strip the tail and keep the fact, or give the sentence a subject and a number. Most flagged sentences survive the edit — the information stays, the flourish goes.
